About Karen:- Karen works at the Land Registry in
Lytham and enjoys travelling, shopping and more shopping! She is
currently doing her ‘Monica’ from friends bit and is busy organising
everything for the big day. Or she can be found having cream teas
with her Mum while the boys are out cycling.

About Dave:- Dave
is a Commercial Manager at Enterprise in Leyland. He spends quite a
lot of his time travelling round the North East, North West and
Wales as part of his job. Dave has been bitten by the cycling bug
and has been putting in a lot of miles so he can fit into his suit! |
How we met:- Karen and Dave met on the web site ‘Match.com’
and met for their first date on 9th March 2006. After a meal at
Frankie & Benny’s in Preston Karen beat Dave at ten pin bowling (or
he let her win depending on who you believe!). There was no looking
back from there and Karen gradually brought more and more clothes to
Dave’s house until she had moved in and a new wardrobe had to be
built.

The proposal: - For Dave’s 30th birthday Karen booked a
surprise trip to Las Vegas where they stayed in The Luxor and The
Venetian hotels. On 12th February 2008 they went on a helicopter
flight over The Grand Canyon. After the helicopter landed in the
Canyon, Dave popped the question and Karen said yes without any
hesitation. They then joined the others who were on the flight for a champagne picnic
before flying back to Vegas, over the strip. It was a fantastic
holiday and a very special memory. |
