Gibbon Bridge is a four-star, privately
owned hotel and restaurant, nestling in 23 acres of beautiful
gardens, complete with a splendid Garden Bandstand, the
perfect setting to celebrate our marriage. In 1995 the Gibbon
Bridge had the honour of hosting the very first civil ceremony,
outside a registry office in Lancashire. The groom that day was
the impressionist & comedian Phil Cool. Since then many couples
including Jane Danson (Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby) have
taken their vows in the unique setting of the Garden
Bandstand.
