THE FINAL RESULTS ARE IN ;-)
13th August 2008
Thanks to everyone who helped out at tonight's event. I really appreciate
the help as half an hour before the event took place we were seriously
short of helpers and it was looking like the event was going to be a
shambles. I know many people have complained about their time etc but the
event was run and we have gone over the times and cant see any problems so
if you have any complaints then please email. The event was run as best as
possible and to be honest I didn't appreciate the grief from several
riders who, never put anything back into the series.
Anyway lets get back to it. The weather was kind on us and provided
excellent conditions for all of the riders. A brilliant turn out yet
again made for some excellent times. I look forward to seeing you all next
week at the final hill climb which will be followed by the annual prize
presentation at the Priory in Scorton. Please come out and enjoy the
family evening.
6th August 2008
Well that's it folks. With only the two non league counting events still
to go (2 up TT and hill climb) its clear to see that Jimmy Wright (PW) has
stormed home with this years series from second place Robbie Brennan (PCC).
As you all know there will be the annual prize presentation at the Priory
at Scorton after the final hill climb. Here there will be a free hot pot
supper for all riders from the series. It is always an excellent night so
please try to attend and give your support. I look forward to seeing you
all out for next weeks 2 up 10 mile TT.
31st July 2008
There is only one event left to go before the 2 up TT and the final hill
climb and there are still plenty of pints up for grabs. Another excellent
night saw some very quick times. Don't forget the next curry night which
is taking place on the 5th of August after next weeks event. Please email
me for more information.
24th July 2008
Well with only 2 events left before the final two up and hill climb the
league table is getting very interesting. There are still plenty of
categories to fit for. An excellent ride by Robbie Brennan saw him clock a
time of 21.14 to take this weeks event. Don't forget to look at last weeks
news article to see the details of the next PETTS curry night where
everyone is welcome to attend.
